Job Description:
Responsibilities
Assist in organizing and administering the departments of Operative Services. Plan, coordinate, supervise and evaluate activities of nursing and ancillary personnel engaged in specific nursing/medical services, and Operating Room. Conduct conferences and discussions with personnel to encourage participation and formulating departmental policies, promote initiatives to solve problems, and present new policies and procedures.
BSN with Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration required; current RN NC licensure required. Five to six years of OR experience including a minimum of two years of management experience involving budgetary process, personnel management and planning; three years nursing experience in a secondary/tertiary care setting required.
