Nurse Practitioner
General Surgery
Weekends, 7A to 5P
A position is available for an Acute, Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner. In this position, you will have the opportunity to practice in the inpatient setting, providing coverage to the General Surgery service and be responsible for performing physical assessments and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, assisting with discharge planning; and coordinating patient care with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Requirements include a Masters Degree in Nursing, NY State Nurse Practitioner certification with prescriptive privileges plus a minimum of 2 years of inpatient Nurse Practitioner experience. Excellent communications skills are essential.
