The nurses at Henry Ford work in a variety of defined nursing jobs in seven hospitals in Michigan, more than 30 ambulatory medical centers, in home health care, in hospice and in dialysis centers. The roles of the Henry Ford nurse are many and far reaching. From making clinical decisions in the emergency room, administering chemotherapy in the clinic, and monitoring ICU patients; to providing case management, introducing new care protocols, working in a collaborative environment with doctors and even designing a new hospital, Henry Ford nurses take leadership roles in delivering world class health care.
