Battle Creek Health System (BCHS) is a multi-campus health care provider serving approximately 200,000 people in south central Michigan. BCHS was formed through the merger of Battle Creek’s two acute care hospitals-Leila Y. Post Montgomery Hospital and Community Hospital.
Job Title: Staff Nurse - Birth Center
Location: Battle Creek, MI
Under minimal supervision provides and manages professional nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with the Michigan Nurse Practice Act, professional nursing standards, and established hospital and nursing policies and procedures. Exercises professional judgement in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Works closely with and may direct other professional and ancillary nursing personnel providing total nursing care. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must have a current RN license in the State of Michigan. Previous experience preferred. Position requires completion of the American Heart Association BLS course and current certification.
